[Spam for Edward Nygma]
[There's always a moment, a blurry few seconds between the end of a breach and the recollection of all that came before - time her mind spends reconciling the person she was during the flood and the person it knows her to truly be. The previous few days remain in as sharp relief as any other three days of her life - the rest rapidly begins to fade.
This time she was asleep when the ship righted itself, which adds an extra layer of confusion to the proceedings. She'd been in her apartment in Aeris Navem, she remembers inviting her lover and his archfoe with neither being aware that she'd have another visitor, she remembers a glass of wine and a little opium - not enough to blunt her memory or anyone's judgement, as such - and a conversation that concluded with her and Megamind and Edward.
As in. With Megamind and Edward.
Which means she's probably the last Torchwood agent to cross 'inadvisable threesome' off their sexual misadventures list.
She feels her cheeks burning and then it becomes evident that her face isn't the only source of heat in the room. (Her room, thank God for small mercies, with her clothes scattered across the floor in combination with a green suit.) She shifts very slightly, and two things become evident: firstly, she's naked. Secondly, hers is not the only naked body on her (thankfully, unfolded and hence more spacious than usual) sofabed.
Green suit. She already knows who it is but she rolls onto her side anyway and sees Edward, very close and apparently still asleep.
The blanket isn't really big enough for two people. Stealing it feels unkind and relinquishing it simply isn't happening. She clears her throat very quietly.]
Edward? Edward. Wake up.
[Stripped of the equipment and most of the space, her cabin is little more than a white-tiled cell and the sofabed is really the only furniture in there but someone else finding out how pathetically she lives is the last thing on her mind right now.]
[Public - Voice - Shortly after this thread]
[Tosh is not having a brilliant post-breach hangover. She sounds like she's either just finished crying or is trying very hard not to start.]
Megamind's dead. It - it looks like he was strangled, he has…he has claw marks, on his neck. There's - it smells like seawater, around where he was left and leading away.
I'm taking him to the Infirmary.
[She doesn't add 'can somebody please deal with the fact that there's possibly a new Inmate wandering around murdering people', firstly because she hopes it'll be taken as read and secondly because she doesn't think she can say it without losing it. The feed cuts off.]
[Spam for Megamind and also Bruce Banner a little]
[He's lighter than she is, and Tosh is barely stronger than average for her size but her mind feels so shot it doesn't even occur to her to ask for a stretcher or wait for one. Instead she carries him to the Infirmary, his body cradled against hers, the De-Gun settled in his lap.
Once she's got him in and settled in one of the empty beds she's got a little business of her own to attend to, but once that's done she's back at Megamind's bedside and waiting for him to come around.]

You weren't attacked, were you? [ She looks alright. ]
[ For a certain value of alright. ]

There's just - just a couple of things I need, after the breach. If you're not busy.
no subject
[ So here he is, attentive. ]
What can I do for you?
no subject
I need a shot of naltrexone. And a levonorgestrel pill. Please.
[There's still something a bit overly descriptive about the phrase 'morning after pill' that her mind's skittering away from, though.]

[ WELP; the joy of being the ship's doctor is you know all the fun things like -- fucking and fighting, and who is doing either to someone else. ]
[ But he nods, and goes to get the latter from a packet in the pharmacy, and then load up a syringe for the former. ]

Then Dr. Banner's back, and she sighs softly and rolls up her sleeve.]
Thank you.

Would you-- like some juice? Tea?
[ Because honestly Tosh he just-- wants to mother-hen you. ]

The water's fine. Thank you. I'm just - I'm going to go and wait for Megamind to come round.
[Or at least wait to be displaced by Edward, because she knows who Megamind would rather wake up to.]

Dude, what the fuck?
What the fuck.
no subject
He's in the Infirmary now.
I'm sorry.
no subject
Jesus christ, he makes it through the breach and gets fucked up on the Barge?
Fuck.
Fuck, when can I come see him?
no subject
[Dead. Right now.]
The Admiral is responsible for reviving Wardens.
no subject
Fuck, what sort of fucking bullshit is this.
no subject
[Yeah the part of her that knows better than to get into arguments with teenage boys when emotions are running high on both sides is...not working.]
You're angry at him for getting killed? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Great Rao, what happened? Is there an animal loose?
no subject
New boy just couldn't play nicely.
He's about six foot, two hundred pounds easy-- artificial leg, wooden. Hominid but not human, cephalopod features, crustacean-ish weaponized arm. Implied he was undead, so we need heavies or technological elements-- I'll get one of Rhade's grav traps and go make sure there's no more casualties.

Thank you.
[For the reassurance, really. She knows enough about Riddick to trust that if he says the job's getting done, it'll get done.]
[Spam]
...Well then.]
Ah. Miss Sato. Or would that be too formal right now? Toshiko.
[His gaze lingers on her for a moment too long, much to his embarrassment, and he uncomfortably runs a hand over a scarred shoulder while glancing to the clothes strewn across the floor. There isn't much point in trying to hide his imperfections now, he supposes, but he will need to put on a shirt soon.]
I'm extremely cold.
Re: [Spam]
[She knows, rationally, that she shouldn't be selfconscious. He's seen her naked. He's - done quite a bit more than see. But it wasn't exactly her and it wasn't exactly him and all she'd like to do right now is just dematerialise. And even though she's not really consciously aware of the way his eyes linger, she feels her cheeks heat up that little bit more.]
Our clothes are - do you mind?
[She moves to sit up and if he's a decent human being his options are to close his eyes or turn away.]
[Spam]
Stay under the covers. I'll retrieve them.
[It would be very rude of him to let her go padding around naked for their clothes. He waits long enough for her to look away, before pushing the blanket off himself and setting his feet on the floor. It's freezing. It really is far too cold in her cabin.]
You should consider having a heater installed. It can't be terribly comfortable, living in these conditions.
[It's a very spartan room, he notices, as he removes himself from the bed to retrieve their clothes.]
[Spam]
[She hears him take a few steps away from the sofabed, and clearly the last few days have completely shot her self-control because she catches herself taking a tiny little peek in his direction while his back's turned. Just out of academic curiosity. Just to check that she -
Ah. Yes. She does still find him attractive.
That's awkward.]
[Spam]
If we're to go by lab conditions, I suppose it is appropriate for an intellectual.
[Eventually he pulls on his briefs and pants and simply scoops up the clothes, as well as the lingerie, dumping them on the bed next to Toshiko. Sitting back on the edge of the bed, he sorts through his own pile for his undershirt.]
Re: [Spam]
It never used to be a problem when this place was filled with computers anyway, if anything it was too hot in the summer months, but...well.
[Spam]
[Was this the Admiral's way of punishing Toshiko for her takeover? He could be unusually mean, at times.
He pulls on his undershirt, making sure not to jostle the sofabed too much as he moves.]
