I've been given a map of London - some landmarks I don't recognise, so I expect it's a dissimilar world or after my time or both.

[A beat.]   You should go. Ports in December are usually fairly benign. I'll be giving this one a miss, I think.

[So....even better, right?  She assumes you're going with Charles if you're going at all. Which is just as well because she's not giving you her credit card, you'll probably ruin it the second you try to use your powers.]

I need to do some more testing but I'd say the lock'll be ready to install in a day or so.  I'm going to stay on board to finish it off.

Are you going out?  I don't think there's ever been a bad port in December, so…and London's wonderful, anyway. I lived there for about ten years.

...stay out of the southeast in general, though, there's nothing to see and you're likely to get mugged.

No, no, it's - I'm mostly running tests at this point. Not much intellectual effort, just time-consuming.
