I'd like you to change my room to the northeast sector of the Torchwood Hub, encompassing the technical section, lab and locker room. If you could replace Owen and Gwen's stations with the kitchen from the southwest sector that would be appreciated as well.

If none of that's possible, I'd like to have access to the Hub's organic computer. Please.

[Added five minutes later:]

[Tosh is sitting on a beat up sofa in front of a white tiled wall; part of the word TORCHWOOD is visible on the wall behind her, printed onto the tile. Anyone around for either mirrorverse flood may remember that this is what Mirror!Tosh's cabin looked like. She's holding a circuit board in one hand and tapping it distractedly against her other hand as she talks.]

Is there currently anyone on board who hunts game in the CES for sport? I wouldn't ask anyone to go out of their way, but if anyone's doing it already then I'd like to have a word. I'd like to -

[There's some unearthly screeching from high above her head and she glances in that direction, but doesn't seem surprised or even startled.]

I'd like to come to an arrangement, if possible.

If you've got no other use for what you kill and it's...manageably sized, would you mind letting me know so I can pick it up? I have an extra mouth to feed.

[She knows there's a freezer full of fish somewhere, but it only seems fair to give her the occasional something that's a bit fresher than that.]

No problem. [He goes fishing a lot and it's rare he can get Narvin to eat some of it.]

What is it you got there, by the way?

A pteranodon. She came through the Rift almost two years before I - [died] - came to the Barge, and we decided to keep her.

[She clears her throat.] I asked for the Admiral to restructure my cabin, and....well. Apparently she's part of the furniture, these days.

That's a hell of a long way home for her. [Poor thing.] How's her health held up as far as you can tell?

Not that we had much of a baseline, but it certainly didn't deteriorate while she was in our care. She put on a bit of muscle, if anything.

Honestly, if she could survive the Rift without some form of protection then she could weather anything.

Does she have a name?

Myfanwy. One of my coworkers named her after a local myth regarding a goddess with a beautiful singing voice.

I'm sure cockatoos the world over would love to hear her singing voice.

I'll save her some fish, then. That's what I do there more often than not.

I'm not offended. You keep to yourself a lot, and I probably should poke my head in more but sometimes I just want some quiet time myself so I figure I might be intruding.

[He notices, but he's a little bit of an introvert.]

If you're up early enough I do language reviewing at breakfast. Because I try to keep in practice. [Because he does have a ridiculous capacity for languages.] You know, if you want to bone up on anything.

[He's not good at recommending fun stuff. Other than minor hanging out with a drink he's pretty practical.]

I'm usually there at the start of breakfast. Stay there for an hour or a half hour.
